🌸 About Me

About Me

Hi, I’m Ketta Jeanette Hirata — a proud mom to two incredible daughters, a creative soul, and someone who’s learned to navigate life’s challenges with resilience, humor, and a whole lot of heart.

I’m both Japanese and Mexican, which means I grew up with a mix of traditions, perspectives, and flavors. While I’m not fully fluent in either culture, they’re still part of my identity in ways I’m always exploring. Sometimes I feel like a walking contradiction — straddling worlds, never fitting neatly into one box — but I’ve learned to see that as a kind of freedom.

Life has thrown me more than a few curveballs. Living with psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other chronic health challenges has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to celebrate the smallest wins. Those challenges have also pushed me to create a life that works for me — one where I can prioritize my health, my family, and my passions without apology.

Alongside my girls, I share my life with my partner, Ray. Together, we’re building a home, a business, and a future that reflects our shared values — filled with love, laughter, creativity, and mutual support.

When I’m not spending time with my family, you’ll probably find me building Lego sets, piecing together puzzles, going on scenic drives, or getting lost in a creative project. I love finding beauty in everyday life and turning even simple moments into something memorable.

At the end of the day, I’m all about growth, connection, and showing up authentically — even when that means embracing the messy, in-between parts of who I am.
